Following is an example of how a murder Mystery Evening may be organised:-

Murder Mystery Evening

(suitable for small groups - maximum 50 guests)

All our Murder Mysteries are primarily for fun entertaining events - not heavy sleuthing!! Each plot is unique but the same successful pattern is used to dish them up. You are free to choose from one of our classic plots or we can tailor make a story line to suit your guest's devious minds.

Your Murder Mystery begins during pre-dinner drinks as the Compere mingles with suspicious characters (that's you), each guest is given a new identity and character brief, in keeping with the theme of the murder thus becoming part of the plot.

Your guests are invited to view the "dead body" before dinner, one of your guests may even play the vital role if they wish (it's not tricky) before they rejoin the event with a new identity (a talking role this time...)

When your guests are seated for dinner they will each find a pen and notebook ready for them with a short description of the scenario on the front cover. There is also a quiz the answers to which spell a clue (the answers are not to difficult) and a limerick competion for the mischievous minded!

Our talented Compere will then narrate the events leading up to the murder in light-hearted manner, but pay attention as he may be letting slip some important "scene of the crime" clues!

Your guests are free to question each other during dinner, but beware! The person sitting next to you could be THE MURDERER and not even know it! More clues are revealed between courses and the plot thickens as the entertainment increases. Our Sherlock Holmes' and Miss Marple's complete their solution cards as individuals or groups during coffee and then in the finale the DASTARDLY MURDERER is exposed!

To complete the evening prizes and certificates are awarded for the best sleuths, worst solutions, funniest limerick etc!
